The Speech Service provides specialist speech and language therapy for children, young people and adults with complex communication, swallowing, cognitive and developmental needs.
We work alongside case managers, families, schools, healthcare professionals and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated, person-centred assessment and intervention across North and North West London.
Children and Young People
We support children and young people with speech, language, communication and social interaction needs, including autism, developmental language disorder, speech sound difficulties and complex needs. We can liaise with parents, schools, SENCOs, educational professionals and other members of the team, and provide assessment reports, therapy programmes, review reports and attendance at meetings where required.
Adults
We support adults with acquired and progressive neurological conditions, communication, cognitive, voice and swallowing difficulties. Input can include comprehensive assessment, rehabilitation programmes, reports, treatment plans, progress updates and liaison with families and the multidisciplinary team.
Referrals and Fees
We appreciate that case-managed clients may require coordinated input beyond direct therapy. Clinical administration, liaison, reports, travel time and mileage are discussed and agreed transparently in advance.
Please contact us with a brief outline of the client’s needs, location and preferred times. We will advise on therapist suitability, availability and likely costs.
