1. Fees
Charges are reviewed annually and may vary depending on the location of the assessment or therapy session.

2. Travel Expenses
Mileage is charged at £0.50 per mile from the therapist’s base. Distances are calculated using Google Maps, and charges apply to a return journey.

 

3. Initial Consultations
Payment for initial consultations is required in advance of the session.

4. Therapy Session Payments
Payment for therapy sessions is due at least 24 hours in advance of each session. Clients may choose to pay fortnightly or monthly in advance if preferred. All payments must be made via bank transfer.

 

5. Cancellation Policy

Sessions cancelled with more than 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled or credited toward a future session.

Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full, with no credit or refund given.

 

6. Data Protection
Personal information is handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Personal data will be stored securely and only as required for the provision of therapy services.

 

7. Confidentiality
Relevant information may be shared with other professionals directly involved in the client’s care. Information will not be shared with third parties without consent. If total confidentiality is required, please inform the therapist in writing.

8. Professional Standards
The therapist adheres to the professional guidelines and code of ethics set out by the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).

9. Discontinuation of Services
The therapist reserves the right to cease providing services with a minimum of two weeks’ notice.
